“Aria” was inspired by and created for West Riding’s latest soaring, atmospheric musical creation “Narrow Road to the Interior”.

I began with a small circular line drawing and then enlarged it to cover an area 20 inches across, taking two weeks to make this translation. This acrylic painting has complex textures and layers of rich blues, living greens, and glowing white. It measures 24 × 24 inches, and is varnished, wired and ready to display.
